You spawn in Act 1, Episode 1, It Came From Space, at level 1. The watch is not on your wrist yet. The quest panel already tracks two objectives: Watch the meteor fall and Find the crash site.
Reach the crater
A glowing green trail of arrow markers runs along the forest path. A floating marker shows the remaining distance in studs, so you do not need a separate map for this objective. The opening area is Bellwood Forest. The minimap uses labels such as THE FOREST, EAST TRAIL, and BELLWOOD FOREST.
The trail ends at a smoking crater. Walk into the pickup ring labeled Crash site. The Omnitrix is sitting in a bowl-shaped metal container. The cutscene lifts it onto your character's left wrist, and the TRANSFORM panel starts at once.
Transform once before you leave
- Press Q to open the Omnitrix wheel. The tutorial icon is the diamond labeled HEATBLAST.
- Select Heatblast.
- Press E.
A green glow plays, your character becomes a fire alien with a lava-cracked orange body and a flaming head, and a Heatblast nameplate appears overhead. That nameplate is the success check. The on-screen reaction in this scene is "What happened to me? I'm on fire!"
If Q does not open the watch, use the prompt the game is showing. A G Omnitrix button sits on the bottom-left hotbar, with the line Press G to open the Omnitrix.
The HUD at this point shows a level badge at LV 1, an OMNITRIX LV 1 line, and an XP bar at 0/100. The game does not explain how Omnitrix level relates to player level.
Back to Camp is on a clock
The next quest, Back to Camp, lists:
- Ride to the campsite
- Talk to Grandpa Max
- The Omnitrix is reacting...
- Destroy the drones attacking the camp (0/5)
A banner reads STEP 1 OF 2 - TRANSFORM BEFORE THE DRONES ARRIVE. Transform first, then ride in and clear the five drones. This is the pattern for the early story: follow the marker, transform when the quest demands it, then finish the fight.
Claim the Launch Gift before you wander off
A LAUNCH GIFT panel on the HUD reads Finish the tutorial to open. Finish the tutorial steps, then open that panel. It is separate from Daily Charge, which pays for logging in, and separate from the dungeon chest, which pays at the end of a dungeon run.
The Codes icon is already part of this early HUD. Redeem Halloween if you have not used it on this account. Details of the window are on the codes page.
Where the session goes next
Keep the story quest tracked. It is the reliable route through towns, forests, and the lake while you learn the layout. Leveling is what the description says unlocks the rest of the 15 aliens. Only Heatblast is named by this tutorial. Way Big and Humungousaur are named on their passes, not in this opening scene. See Aliens before you treat any other name as unlocked.
