The experience is one open world, not a stack of separate story levels. The developer description says to explore towns, forests, and the lake, ride the hoverboard, and find secrets.
When the destination is a quest
Use the quest tools in this order:
- Read the quest panel. The first quest prints Watch the meteor fall and Find the crash site.
- Follow the green arrow trail on the path.
- Read the floating marker. It shows remaining studs. During the opening path it has shown figures such as 46 and 169 as the trail bends.
That combination walks you to a tracked objective even if you do not know the layout. The minimap names the zone you are standing in. Labels seen in the opening forest include THE FOREST, EAST TRAIL, and BELLWOOD FOREST. Official key art also prints BELLWOOD on a water tower in town.
When the destination is not a quest
Move by area type: a town, a forest, or the lake. The named spots from the opening quest are the crash site and the campsite. Individual town names besides the Bellwood labels are not published. Secret markers and coordinates are not published either.
Hoverboard
The official description pairs the hoverboard with exploration and secrets. Ride it between towns, forests, and the lake while a quest is tracked or while you are searching. Hoverboard Garage (125 Robux) unlocks all hoverboard skins and trails. The pass is cosmetic. It is not required to ride.
A search loop that does not skip the story
Follow story quests act by act and sweep the town, forest, and lake you pass through. That is a route, not a rule that secrets only spawn on the quest line. Because nothing lists the secret count or the reward for finding one, the useful habit is simply to cover all three area types instead of resetting one field.
Story bosses are reached by staying on the quest marker. The early combat objective that is written out is Destroy the drones attacking the camp (0/5) after you talk to Grandpa Max. Giant bosses are part of the act structure, and their names are not in the description.
